Faculty of Law Council at Zagazig University Convenes to Discuss Academic and Administrative Matters

 

Based on the invitation extended by Professor Dr. Shaimaa Abdel-Ghani Attallah, Acting Dean of the Faculty and Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, the Council of the Faculty of Law at Zagazig University convened on 14 December 2025, chaired by Professor Dr. Shaimaa Abdel-Ghani Attallah, Acting Dean of the Faculty and Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

The meeting was attended by the Faculty Vice Deans:
Associate Professor Dr. Mohamed Hamdy Bahansi, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; and
Professor Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim Dahshan, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research.

The meeting was also attended by:
Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Hawary, Acting Head of the Department Council of Private International Law;
Professor Dr. Saeed Salem Joweily, Acting Head of the Department Council of International Law;
Professor Dr. Abdel-Raouf Hashem, Emeritus Professor of Public Law;
Professor Dr. Mohamed Salah Abdel-Badie, Emeritus Professor of Public Law;
Professor Dr. Mamdouh El-Moslami, Head of the Department of Civil Law;
Associate Professor Dr. Hany Kamal Jaafar, Acting Head of the Department Council of Islamic Sharia;
Associate Professor Dr. Tarek El-Sheikh, Director of the Quality Assurance Unit;

The meeting was convened to discuss several important issues. Professor Dr. Shaimaa Abdel-Ghani Attallah opened the session by extending her appreciation and gratitude to the members of the Faculty Council for responding to the invitation, after which she proceeded to discuss the agenda items and take the necessary decisions in coordination with the esteemed Council members.

Among the key topics discussed were the preparations for the January examination session. Professor Dr. Shaimaa Abdel-Ghani Attallah emphasized that students’ interests are the Faculty’s top priority, affirming the Faculty’s full commitment to providing a fair and well-organized examination environment that enables every student to sit for exams in an atmosphere of reassurance and equal opportunity.

The Council also reaffirmed its commitment to the strict application of examination regulations to ensure integrity and transparency, and to safeguard the rights of all students without discrimination.
